Monstera Albo (low variegation) - 4.4" pot
Established Roots. Growing in leca.
***Hand-delivered to your school on Monday, September 14. (Please reach out to stellarnurseryplants@gmail.com if alternative delivery options are needed).
WATERING: Water level is visible. When no water remains, refill to no more than about 1/2-3/4” from the pot’s base.
LIGHTING: Bright, indirect - simply place near a window (S, W, or E facing is best). For spaces with limited natural light - many affordable, energy-efficient, LED grow lights are readily available (eg. I use Barrina t5 grow lights for my plants on bookshelves). You can grow plants almost anywhere!
FERTILIZER: To keep your plant thriving, you can supplement a typical watering with any basic houseplant fertilizer (mix into water per product instructions) about every 1-2 months during warmer months, when growth is most active. It is not necessary during colder months. These particular plants have already received sufficient nutrients for the current growing season.
REPOTTING: Roughly once a year, you can transplant into a slightly larger pot to help promote more root/ plant growth. Some plants have faster, more significant root development than others, so may benefit from more frequent repots. Others actually prefer being “root-bound”. By & large, plants prefer to stay put (barring significant transplant needs). When in doubt - usually best to just “leaf them be”
Feel free to reach out through my StellarNursery Facebook page with any plant-related questions.
Happy growing!
